Hello! This blog is comprised of two contributors Erica & Yvonne from the state of Washington. We were first family and have become GREAT friends, that enjoy the same passions: family, DIY decorating, and making more out of less! Oh can't forget a well designed, tasting COFFEE!!!!! 

Erica

   My name is Erica Rodriguez and I am a stay at home mom of Twin boys and a wife to an amazing husband. After the struggle of infertility, I wanted to take advantage of every moment with my boys and didn't want to miss all of their milestones. I am also truly blessed to be able to do so. Yes, my family has had to make sacrifices, but they are all worth it.
   The result of being a stay at home mom, I saw the inside of my home 24/7, which led to me wanting to change things and decorate. Being on a budget it made it difficult to add/change things inside my home.  After being disappointed with the price tags of pretty much everything I liked in stores, I started to think that maybe I could create it myself for the fraction of the price. I now have fallen in love with decorating, transforming ugly into fabulous, re-purposing, and DIY projects.

Yvonne

My name is Yvonne Zayas. I am also a stay at home mom to three kids and wife to my high school sweet heart. I always desired to be a stay at home mom and with a supportive husband, I have been able to do just that. I am thankful for the life I have and the many blessings given to me.

I, too have always been a thrifty shopper and my treasures are usually to be found at one of my favorite thrift shops, Goodwill (where you can usually find me once a week).  I love turning one's junk into MY treasure. Black and white is my theme and I find my style to be somewhat eclectic. I love things modern to contemporary, and even traditional. DIY is mostly found in my home and I enjoy changing up the look of furniture to wall decor in my home.
